Blue Riding Hood

“UGHHHH!” screamed the Little Blue Riding Hood. But wait! Who is she? And why is she screaming?

One sunny day, there was a princess who lived in a kingdom owned by the King. She was a kind, beautiful and a talented princess, that likes the color blue. She also has special powers.. Which is to change her eye colors, she also has the elements of the fire and water, she can go invisible, she can also read minds and she can teleport to different places.

She was so bored of her life. So, she decided to find a prince. “Guards, can you please send all the boys that you can see or pass by in this village and please let them gather at the Royal Hall. Thanks!” Blue Riding Hood commanded the guards. “Yes, ma’am!” the guards replied. So, the guards went away to find and gather all the boys to the Royal Hall.

After 2 hours, the guards came back. “They’re all here, ma’am,” The guards said, “They’re just waiting for you in the Royal Hall.” they continued. The princess thanked the guards as she headed to the Royal Hall.

Blue Riding Hood can’t find the right prince for her, Even the most handsome boy in the village. So she decided to find just the right prince herself. She had a long adventure roaming around the village trying to find her prince.

Finally, he saw a prince crying in a house. “Why are you crying?” the princess asked. “I haven’t had a chance to meet the princess because my stepmother wouldn’t let me.” the boy cried.
“What’s your name?” Blue Riding Hood asked.
“I’m Alexander.” he replied.
“Alexander, okay,” the princess said “Would you come with me to the castle-”
Alexander gasped, “Wait! Are you the princess that the guards were talking about?!” he exclaimed.
“Oh, uh, yes” she uttered. “So, would you come with me?”
“Oh my god! Yes!” he yelled with excitement.
They both went to the castle and they got married and lived happily ever after.

Paper Aeroplanes - Measurement

Paper Aeroplanes - Measurement

In Maths I have been learning about Measurement. I have been learning how to estimate and measure. I made a paper plane. My teacher marked out a runway with a measuring tape. First, I had to estimate how far my plane can go. I estimated 1.5 m, It actually flew 2 m. My second throw I estimated 3 m, it actually flew 2.90 meters. I found hard making the paper aeroplanes because we needed to follow the directions that is shown and it was kinda hard. I enjoyed flying the paper aeroplanes and estimating how long it will go.

Plight Of The Sea Turtle

Plight of the Sea Turtle

Did you know that Sea turtles live in almost every ocean basin in all over the world, giving birth on tropical and subtropical beaches?😯

🐢Sea Turtles, sometimes called marine turtles are reptiles that have swum in our oceans for ages. There are seven types of sea turtles; Kemp's ridley, green olive ridley, hawksbill, leatherback, loggerhead and flatback.🐢

Sea turtles are always important to Pacific People. Tools, spears, fish hooks, jewellery, and combs are made of  turtle shells. These expensive items are used for trading.

Bird Feeders (STEM Technology)

BIRD FEEDERS

This term in S.T.E.M, we have been learning about Bird Feeders so we can gather some birds in our school by feeding them.

What steps have we taken in class to aid our learning?

-We planned on how and what we are going to do for next week, which is our Building time, so we don't need to think about it when we are building.
-When it was time to build, we knew what to do because we planned about it. We built a bird feeder made of wood that is shaped cylinders, plastic containers, and string.

-Then, after that we need to put it on a branch of a tree so birds can see and then we can gather some birds around our school.

I found creating the plan challenging because we can't make our own slideshows because we don't have enough time and we really need cooperation.

I found making the bird feeders  enjoyable because it was kind of hard making it but it's also fun and we needed to put some effort on it so we enjoyed making the bird feeders.

Spencer Park Trip

Spencer Park Trip

Being in Spencer Park was fun. It was fun because we played a lot. We also did some fun activities like; Going to the beach and making a sand castle, playing in the zip line, laying and spinning the spinning thing, having a race in the sand, etc. It was really fun spending some time outside because it was healthy for us and it improves our physical skills and creativity. It wasn't just fun, because some activities were challenging and you need to do your best and put effort to it. But the main thing that you need to do is just have fun and enjoy while being there in the trip.

Using Our People Powers - Make Their Day

Using Our People Powers - Make Their Day

Today we talked about how we can make people's days.

During this week I will make people's day by:

1) Making them smile.

2) Include them to anything like games and conversations if they're alone.

3) Compliment them.

4) Greet them if you see them.

5) Help them if they're stuck or if they need help.

I will catch up with you next week to let you know how I got on.

Did I make their day?

I did make them smile, because I helped them and I greet them whenever I see them.

We (Shreya, Angela and I) included Mereka on our games and conversations and we became friends.

I complimented people on times that they need to be complimented.

I greet people and put a smile on my face when they pass by me.

I also helped my group mates do our project for S.T.E.M to finish our bird feeder.

I really feel proud of myself of what I did just to make their day.
