Measuring things using metres

In Maths we are learning about measurement. Today we learnt about metres. Our task was to;
-Find an object
-Guess how long it is using metres
-Measure the actual length
-And find the difference of the estimated and actual length.

Work out the difference between my guess and the actual measurement.

I found it hard on finding the estimated length because we needed to guess. I enjoyed finding the stuff that we will measure because we explored the classroom to find all those things.
